[Jeffy Lion]

I have plan to buy my first tube amp soon. My style is 80'srock (Extreme,Winger,White Lion,Van Halen, Dokken, etc) and shred guitar instrumental like Paul Gilbert,Vinnie Moore,Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Tony Macalpine.
I'm considering 3 kind of amps
1) Peavey 5150 Combo (sound clips have)
2) Carvin Legacy VL212 Combo (sound clips from Chrisguitargod..Awesome!!!)
3) Mesa Boogie F-50 112 Combo ...that could not find any clips

Somebody know where can I listen to..please tell me

Plenty on Harmony Central. Just do a search in the discussion area under amps with the F50. There is a couple of threads I read a was quite impressed with the amp. However, when I played it, I could not get that singing liquid distortion he got. Might have been the Guitar Center I was at and the constant bad mojo they give off. :lol:

That said, the clean was a nice Fender clean, but I would just buy a Deluxe Reverb and stick a Fulltone OCD and come our much cheaper. YMMV.

Inretrospect for what you are looking for, I would say a used 5150 would be just right. The Boogie probably would not give you that Marshally midrange you want in the artists you named.

I own an F50 and can not sing its praise high enough, I will try and get a couple of clips recorded for you, but my studio is in bits at the moment
