are u using the neck pickup when trying to do clean? if not ur probly not gonna get a good clean tone...
which pickup is good?with all genres of music
i just bought a jackson rr3 and its awsome but the picksups suck bad.there duncan design pickups they soung ok with distorsion or overdrive.but when u try to make it clean it sound a lil distorted and bassy it sucks.which pickup is good for clean and sound smooth distorted too?

hmm..maybe you should try one of them dimarzio humbucker from hell. a combination of single coil like glassy cleans and paf power when distorted.
