hey guys.

i have a guitar recording here of a song. the guy who played it, told me that the original composer of that song is Mark Knopfler and the song called "She Is Gone".

I looked all over the net for M. Knopflers discography but couldnt find this specific song. I simply think he got either the composer or the name wrong (or both). unfortuantelly, i cant reach this guy anymore.

Is this it? The title is "She's Gone" and was recorded for the Film Metroland
You knew he was the guitarist for Dire Straits, right? I thought everyone knew that.

Out of interest, Mark Knopfler has written 3 songs with "gone" in the title:

i cant believe i missed this album on amazon. i think ive listened to all the samples they had except for this album.

and everyone does know who mark knopfler is, i just never got to listen to his solo work/soundtracks.
