I LOVE the Floyds...but it really depends on what kind of music you play...if you're playing blues stay away from it until you learn how to compensate when doing double stop bends...but if you think a floyd is only for divebombing....watch how Steve Vai uses it in the London Astoria DVD, you'll be amazed.

But it all boils down to preference, some people like it, some people don't.

And set up and restringing is not hard if you know what to do.

Although having said these i would still get another guitar with a fixed bridge just so that i could still play tunes in alternate tunings.

With the way the Wolfgang is set up, string sway, as someone i play with calls it, is not an issue. I used to have an Ibanez back in the day & I hated the damn thing because of the Floyd. Now, it's cake.
