My Uncle found this thing at a yard sale and bought it for me...He payed $2!!

I just plugged her in and seems to be working perfectly but I can tell its old just by the electrical plug. Anybody here know anything about Electro Harmonic pedals wanna give me some opinions on how old it is and what its really worth? I have never used any "EH" pedals before today so all help is appreciated.

hey there...electro-harmonix was founded in 1968 by mike matthews...i've got pics of the memory man "deluxe" which was made from the late 1970's to early 1980's...then re-issued c2000...i assume the "deluxe" model was created AFTER the plain old memory man...therefore i would date it to the early 70's...jimi hendrix used an E-H big muff purchased at manny's in new york shortly before his death...according to legend anyways....that's a neat pedal...does it work....????....hang onto it..it COULD be collectable... :thumb:

Thanks for the replies guys. It definetly works and seems like its in perfect condition exept for the scratches. I was expecting scratchy pots and loose i/o's but there are in great shape. There is a tiny bit of rust on the casing but hardly noticable. Thanks for the info Jimi.

Well I did a bit of researching and found this guys site

Chrisguitars

look at number 26, under misc. Vintage effects and you will see one like mine. I found 2 differences though. His has a *********** cord and the casing looks more like gray paint. Other than that its the same pedal and that one is a 1977...Just thought I would share the info I found. I also just noticed the knobs on that one are different than mine...mine around completly round, his have the little pointer on them...Just wish it had a serial number or something so I could tell exacly how old it is.
