BLAZE BAYLEY
Jönköping, SWE
Kulturhuset
2025-10-11 (October 11th)
Metal Fest
source: tolvis master aud, Zoom H2 (internal mics)
length: 118.31
What a fun night! Blaze celebrates 30 years since the X-factor album by playing all of it incl. the three single
b-sides, plus Virus from that era aswell. A real hoot, he only does like 10 of these gigs so us swedes were lucky
to get one of them. The gig itself was actually a festival, I didn't see the openers Tad Morose, then Blaze played
as second act which was his wish if I understand it correctly. He Went on at 8.30 PM or something like that. Two
other smaller/local bands played after him, which according to a review meant they played to an almost empty venue.
Everyone was there for Blaze, me included, and I left immediately afterwards sweating like a hog.
It was great to get all the songs from Maiden's darkest album, I myself enjoy The Aftermath, Fortunes Of War and
The Edge Of Darkness a lot and never ever thought I would hear them live again (yep, I saw the original tour in
1995... we're getting old people!).
I hope you will enjoy this, it's a bit bass heavy but he played LOUD! I used the lowest gain to avoid the sound
turning into mashed potatoes. It's pretty good, and I captured the atmos pretty well.
setlist:
01 Doctor doctor (partial, instrumental)
02 Sign of the cross
03 Lord of the flies
04 Man on the edge
05 Fortunes of war
06 Look for the truth
07 The aftermath
08 Judgement of heaven
09 Blood on the world's hands
10 The edge of darkness
11 2 A.M.
12 The unbeliever
13 I live my way
14 Judgement day
15 Justice of the peace
16 Virus
17 Futureal
18 Doctor doctor (incl. band introductions)
ENJOY!!
