My rips of the complete series of the Lost Lennon Tapes from a cd-r copy of the WestWood 1 discs has been getting posted here in bits and pieces without any lineage or acknowledgement from where it was taken from.

It's about 222 discs or so. I received this set in a cd-r trade in the early 2000's. I ripped all of my discs a few years back and posted them on Google Drive and shared them on Bootlegzone and also on Echoes Hub and a few other hubs I'm in.

They are still available in those places.

So while Plumdusty is posting them here to FileFactory, I will post the link below to Bootlegzone where you can still find the original complete set. Go through the whole thread as the artwork and I think a special rare episode is still posted there. I can't say for sure. I just know my stuff is still there.

No membership required for Bootlegzone or my Google Drive links.

Wow, thanks for this huge undertaking!! Back in the day I started recording these onto cassette. I did it faithfully for about 50 shows, and then my radio station appeared to no longer have it and I thought that was it. Little did I know just how huge it would become! Thanks for all the work in providing this!

This is great. Only took a couple of hours to download. Can't wait to start listening. John Lennon was always one of my heroes. I was at the WNEW Xmas concert in NYC the night he was shot and stayed outside the Dakota until well into the following morning. One of the most moving moments of my life......

With regard to the previous exchange, I actually can't see a way to search on File Factory. I'm kinda stuck on my account page with the opportunity to upload or upgrade but nothing else. I assume that's just because I have a free account. Which is also why each album takes about 4 hours to download. 😂
